Thankfully they are sturdy little buggers. But damn.
For the midnight bottle lamb feeding I plan to strap the FauxPro to the bottle for the full Extreme Lamb Feeding Experience.

Yep, it’s been pretty impressive here.
I’m dog sitting at my parents’ and this happened:
There’s a real lack of scale to the photo, so it may not look so impressive, but I’d say that tree was at least 2.5' in diameter at the base, and somewhere around 80-90' tall. It was a big one. Luckily nothing major appears to have fallen on the house/garage/shed etc, though I guess the night is young. Downside of essentially living in a forest is there are a lot of trees around, many of them quite large. Good news is the wind has been more or less from due west, and there’s only two trees that would hit stuff falling westward (one of them is a real big one though, it would be very bad if it let go).

At our house now it kind of sounds like we’re being towed down the highway. Even when there isn’t direct wind noise I can still hear a dull roar out there. I considered moving our cars out into the road (we’re at a dead end) because there’s more space between the trees out there.
